The burger restaturant is aptly called "8 cuts Burger Blends."
It offers the yummiest burger I ever laid eyes on.
Best of all, you can opt to make your own burger!
I love the double cheese burger. The soft buns, fresh organic lettuce and tomato with its perfect juicy, meaty goodness still lingers in my mind.
I felt like I was in burger heaven!

DULCELIN GOURMET: Yummy Red Rice Shiso Salad
Dulcelin Gourmet is one of the new restaurants at U.P. Town Center along Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City. A stone's throw away from U.P. Diliman Campus, U.P. Town Center is the newest hang-out of cool people.

It has a minimalist ambiance.
I never tasted nor heard about Dulcelin Gourmet until yesterday. From being a dessert place, it is now a full service restaurant. Too bad, we're already full when we dropped by Dulcelin.
The amiable owners let us try their original Yummy Red Rice Shiso Salad. 
Red Rice Shiso Salad is composed of seared tuna with shrimp and tamago quail egg on a bed of Japanese rice mixed with Korean spices and shiso leaves.

This dish definitely deserves a second visit.

GARDENIA PHILIPPINES: The Next Big Sandwich Hit

Gardenia Philippines' the next big sandwich hit food kiosk challenge was held at Mercato Central in BGC last Friday, October 18, 2013.


Four (4) out of the ten (10) finalists composed of HRM students who won the qualifying rounds from various schools get to represent their respective schools that night.


The total sales they make at the qualifying round will be part of their final standing. Winning team who gets the most sale that night wins the Mercato Centrale Food Kiosk challenge. 

The four participating schools that night are the following:

  3.  Philippine Woman University (PWU)

I finally met in person the extremely cool chef behind Cafe Ysabel in Greenhills. My friends and I used to dine at Cafe Ysabel and I really really love its dishes.

In a very entertaining afternoon, 
Chef Gene Gonzales proved to us that he is the real Fruit Ninja as he sliced a watermelon in mid-air in front of a live audience using the Masflex KitchenPro 10" Chef's Knife.

DESSERT JARS: Heavenly Taste

Everything tastes better out of a jar! Dessert Jars mousse simply reminds me of the special goodness of fresh and made from scratch desserts made by my auntie Lolly. They're simply heavenly!


Dessert jars line of desserts is especially made by Chef Carol. It comes in five (5) variants, namely:

  2. Green Tea Chocolate Mousse

  4. Lady Finger Trifle

I think it can be a very nice presents to your friends and love ones. I was surprised that my brother who hardly eats sweets for dessert devoured the whole jar by himself! I scoop one spoonful using the attached wooden spoon and it was really delicious.
 My favorite is the Peanut Butter Oreo Cheesecake squeezed in a jar.
The chocolate mousse is simply irresistible too! 
The green tea is such a delicious treat. 
You could see the love that the chef invested on each of the dessert jars. it was delicately wrapped, labeled and tied with a colorful string with a wooden spoon attached. It was so dainty. 

Whatever flavors you choose you can never go wrong with desserts squeezed in a jar. Enjoy!

I am surprised that it only costs between Php70 to Php95 per small bottle and Php180 for the big bottle.
